Countless revolutions, political movements, and corporate restructurings have been carried out as a check on power. These movements point out and attempt to correct often real asymmetries of power within the systems with which they take issue.

However, these movements require power to disrupt power, and ultimately they end up with disproportionate power to the rest of society. Power is not defeated, it is only changed.

Is it possible to have a movement disrupt power without giving it power?
